Piccadilly
As part of the prestigious refurbishment of the Grade II listed building at 170 Piccadilly, Dyfed Richards Limited collaborated with the architect team to bring their designs to life.
We supplied and installed 150m² of prime grade oak in a bespoke parquet design, framed by a 240mm wide plank border within the first floor communal areas. We worked alongside the architect to create sample panels and finalise design options.
The flooring was hand finished with a custom stain developed to complement the surrounding joinery, followed by two coats of Osmo Hard Wax Oil for a durable finish that enhances the natural character of the timber.
Our works also included timber cladding and detailed stair treads across four staircases, incorporating brass demarcation studs, alongside five lift lobby areas featuring a further 10m² of timber flooring.
Delivered over four months by a dedicated team of four fitters, supported by our site foreman and DRL Directors, the project required careful coordination and logistics, with more than six tonnes of materials distributed throughout the city centre site.
We are proud to have contributed to a project recognised with both the BCO London Award for Best Project (up to 2,500m²) and the Mix Awards Workplace Winner (35–70k sq. ft), reflecting the high level of craftsmanship and collaboration achieved across the project.
