Private Residence

This 100m² project was completed within a private residence in Islington, featuring prime-grade oak planks measuring 240mm wide and 20mm thick. The boards were laid in a traditional plank format and hand-finished with a raw oil, allowing the natural character and texture of the oak to remain prominent.

The project also included a bespoke oak staircase, with treads, risers and nosings produced to complement the flooring. Alongside this, a series of curved solid oak nosings were individually templated on site to achieve a precise fit to the staircase. These were then crafted and hand-finished off site using the same flooring timber and finish, creating a seamless and cohesive result throughout the residence.
