Premium Floor Renovation – Waterman Building

Subfloor Preparation:
We commenced with extensive subfloor preparations across the building, including latexing, application of 6mm plywood and feather finish levelling compound to ensure a flawless base for the flooring.

Cork Plank Installation:
Over 850m² of 180mm-wide cork planks were supplied and installed, extending through the reception area, fourth-floor offices and core communal spaces.

Pine Plank Restoration:
Approximately 200m² of existing pine planks were carefully collected from the site. Each plank underwent a thorough refurbishment process - denailing and precision re-machining - before being reinstalled in the ground floor bar area, office meeting rooms and communal areas, including four staircases.

Finishing Touches:
Post-installation, all wooden floors were sanded, stained and oiled using a bespoke colour mix developed in collaboration with the client to achieve a unique aesthetic. The cork flooring received a thorough cleaning and was finished with a protective lacquer to enhance durability and longevity.
